We love texture, colour and all things design here at Tania Johnson Design. Whether it’s pile & loop, cut & carved or a textural-looking space dye, we create a number of beautiful, and bespoke, qualities across our hand knotted, handloom and flatweave collections.
Carved - Samples
Some samples in our handloom carved quality. Plain woven on a handloom, the designs are then cut and carved in different pile heights by hand creating textural and sumptuous rugs.
Petal - Production
Hand carving our textural Petal rug in Kathmandu. Hand made in 100% wool, our Petal design is created using three different pile heights resulting in a sumptuous and luxurious feel.1
Tangle - Carved
Detail of our Tangled Lines rug. Hand made in 100% wool, the design is then carved and cut in three different pile heights creating a luxuriously sumptuous feel.
Crackle - Carved Rug
Our handloom Crackle design in Grey. Hand woven, cut and carved in a sumptuous high low pile and made to order in any size or colour.
