Hampton Border - Colour Samples
Introducing some of the colours in our new Hampton Border design. We will be showing this new rug at @decorex_international starting a week from today! Olympia, 6-9th October.
Nepal - Production
I create every weaving graph myself which is then sent to our mill. They print it out in black and white and hand paint it as shown here to differentiate between each colour position. Each square on the paper represents a knot. The graph is then attached to the loom and the immensely skilled weavers hand knot each pixel/square by hand.
I feel so lucky to do something I love so much and honoured to work with such a skilled and amazing team in Nepal.
